My decision to express myself using my artistic capabilities had been made for me earlier in life than I can remember. My father was a Design/Display artist, and my mother avidly continued her family tradition of Knitting. Armed with those “tools,” I set out to become a Biologist.
Despite making it pretty far into that endeavor, my need to utilize a more abstract way of thinking (a frustration to my professors) pushed me into realizing that Art is my language. My deep love for the pure Truth of basic Biology shaped almost everything I did (and do), from earning a Master of Public Health (1971), to the content of my art work.
This site is for documenting an overview of what I make. My resume can be seen by contacting me.
